At this point, all of the initial work on the foundation is complete. Many resources say that the foundation is the first big test for an owner-builder: it involves a lot of work, a lot of coordination, and a lot of financial commitment. And the consequences of mistakes are high. Delays aside, it feels awesome to have made it through the first step without any major issues (and just before winter hit, too).
